On the 30th day, of the 6th month of the year 1995, a one of a kind hand crafted artist was born . Born and raised in the heart of Detroit. Music found her just at the early age of 3. Breana Wilks Aka Bentley Taylor was raised by her single mother not knowing the gem amongst them.They say it takes a village which it did the church helped raised her along with the elders of her family. From DSA (Detroit School of Arts) to the suburban schools of the city, Bentley’s passion for music grew more intense. With each performance, Bentley honed her craft, blending the rich traditions of gospel with the smooth, laid-back vibes of neo-soul. She immersed herself in the sounds of artists like Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, and Jill Scott, drawing inspiration from their ability to convey deep emotion and authenticity through their music. Her unique style began to take shape after high school, characterized by soulful melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and a voice that could captivate any audience.
